About

The U.S.S. Pharaoh Star Trek group is a non-profit fan club, and comprises a collection of people from all walks of life who have come together to celebrate Gene Roddenberry’s vision of a positive, prejudice-free future, where we can all work together, encourage new ideas, embrace differences, and enjoy Star Trek in all its forms.

The group was formed in 1996, and meets twice monthly for all sorts of Trek-related fun.

The U.S.S. Pharaoh is a Sovereign class ship launched on Stardate 61833, and is at the forefront of Starfleet’s directive to explore strange new worlds, seeking out new civilisations, and going boldly into the future.

The Sovereign class starship was first introduced by Starfleet in the 2370s, and remains the main vessel of exploration, defence, and diplomacy, even as the 24th century comes to a close. The Sovereign class U.S.S. Pharaoh has undergone a number of upgrades, resulting in one of Starfleet’s frontline ships, with the most advanced technology available in the Federation.

The Pharaoh has 29 decks, 16 phaser arrays, 10 torpedo tubes, enhanced regenerative ablative shielding, the most advanced warp propulsion system in Starfleet, and a crew complement of 885. Its primary role is exploration and defence, but it can be ready for any situation immediately.
